Wedding Venues in Oahu | Mountain Locations

Two of my favorite wedding venues in Oahu are nestled in the foothills of Mt. Ka’ala. They are called Ka’ala Vista Weddings and Waialua Valley Farm. As an Oahu based officiant, I have had the pleasure of officiating in both these locations.

Mt.Ka’ala is the highest peak on the island of O’ahu, and is a part of the Waianae Mountain Range. This is my favorite mountain on O’ahu because of it’s beauty and magical presence. It was no surprise to me to find out that Native Hawaiian’s call the top of Mt. Ka’ala the realm of the God’s. Ka’ala is know to be home goddess Kaiona whose name has become synonymous today as “one who helps another find their way” (More info here). As a wedding officiant, the magic and grounded energy that Mt. Ka’ala provides allows for a seamless and relaxed wedding day.

Both of these venues are best for smaller weddings such as elopements or micro-weddings because of their small and intimate vibes.

Ka’ala Vista Wedding

When talking about wedding venues in Oahu, Ka’ala Vista is another one that takes the cake! They are also a family owned property in Waialua on the North Shore of O’ahu. The family is so friendly, accommodating, and lovely to work with! There are various spots that overlook a gulch (with a flowing river below) to have your ceremony. Then there is also a gorgeous deck where you can have your ceremony or your reception afterwards. They have a maximum capacity of 90 guests.

Waialua Valley Farms

Waialua Valley Farms is also a family owned property in Waialua. This father-daughter duo completely transformed their property in the last year. They have a renovated “barn” with a getting ready space. The “barn” also has area where you could have a cocktail hour, dinner party, etc. Their outdoor space overlooks a gulch where you can have your ceremony, and then a sweet and mellow dinner or party afterwards. They have a maximum capacity of 30 guests.
